Aniverse: Black Rock Shooter Figure Special

Since the Black Rock Shooter OVA release and a bit before, Good Smile Company has released a lot of great figures from the series. They started first back in 2008 with the preorder of the Black Rock Shooter 1/8th scale Rock Cannon version.

Good Smile Company has re-released this figure to accompany the Black Rock Shooter: Dead Master 1/8th scale figure due to be released in the United States in late December 2010 to early January 2011.

They have also teamed up with Max Factory to release two figma's as well. The Black Rock Shooter figma which will come complete with her Rock Cannon and Black Blade and the Dead Master figma which will come complete with her Scythe and two floating skulls that were seen in the OVA. Black Rock Shooter is scheduled to be released in October of 2010 and Dead Master is scheduled to be released in January of 2011. Both are very ideal to collect if you loved the OVA. I have put one of each on preorder for myself since I love this series. I honestly think this series shows promise and will not disappoint in the future.

Next up we have Good Smile Company's Black Rock Shooter Nendoroid. I'm quite excited about this little figure. I'm a huge fan of the Nendoroid series. They are super cute chibi figures with interchangeable arms, legs, faces and other parts.

The Black Rock Shooter Nendoroid comes with this really cute face that seems to be a type of manga face. The expression is priceless. This is well worth to collect. ^_^

Which brings me to the two petit nendoroids being offered with the Black Rock Shooter OVA. These are a bit smaller than the nendoroids but are just as cute.

Moving on, Good Smile Company recently announced at wonderfest, the creation of the Black Gold Saw : Animation Version. Currently it's release date is unknown as well as it's price and size. I'm going to guess she'll be a 1/7 - 1/8 scale PVC resin figure. She looks pretty awesome though! This is definitely a want on my list. When we learn further information about this figure I will be sure to post it. So please keep a look out for more info!

Last but not least we have the Black Gold Saw figma. As the Black Gold Saw : Animation Version, this figma does not have a release date yet. It was announced at wonderfest this year by Good Smile Company and Max Factory. This makes the third from the series to get the figma treatment. I'm amazed at this particular figma. I'm surprised they got the joints to move with all of the armor and blades located on this character. But then again it is Good Smile Company and they never cease to amaze. ^_^

Once we learn more information about this figma I will be sure to update you all and let you know my findings. ^_^
